Suez Canal Bank S.A.E (CANA) was founded in 1978 as a leading Egyptian commercial bank providing retail, corporate, and investment banking services. Under CEO Akef El-Maghraby, who was appointed in April 2024, the bank has risen from 23rd to enter the top 10 banks in Egypt, while its stock recorded growth of over 350% in approximately 1.5 years. The bank launched its new brand identity in December 2025 under the slogan “Worlds. Connected” to deepen client connections across its network of branches throughout Egypt and Libya.
